LGBTQA Health Stakeholder Meeting - Pittsburgh

September 29, 2016 -
2:30pm to 5:00pm

Persad Center, Bradbury-Sullivan LGBT Community Center, Tobacco Free Allegheny and Adagio Health will be presenting findings from a recently completed LGBTQA Community Health Needs Assessment in the Southwest PA. This is the first comprehensive, regional LGBTQA community health assessment of its kind. The assessment includes data on tobacco-use, among other health concerns in the LGBTQA communities of Pennsylvania. Tobacco is a leading cause of death and disability in the LGBTQA community, and we encourage you to join us to learn more about this health disparity and regional efforts to combat it!

PERSAD CENTER is a human service organization whose mission is to improve the well-being of the LGBTQ (lesbian, gay bisexual, transgender, queer and questioning) communities, and the HIV/AIDS communities.

Bradbury-Sullivan LGBT Community Center (Allentown, PA) provides health, arts, and culture programs and supportive services to the LGBT community in the Lehigh Valley, and administered the LGBT wellness needs assessments across the state.

Tobacco Free Allegheny and Adagio Health are the Regional Primary Contractors tobacco prevention and cessations programs for Pittsburgh and Southwest PA
